New Growth
Pregnancy is a big moment. It can bring excitement and hope, but it can also bring anxiety, pressure and difficult memories. New Growth is here for care-experienced young people aged 16–30 who are expecting a baby. It offers steady, respectful support so you can prepare for parenthood feeling informed and understood.
If you grew up in care, you might not have had a clear example of what day-to-day parenting looks like. Becoming a parent yourself can raise new questions. New Growth is here to walk alongside you, helping you understand what’s happening, feel more confident in appointments and meetings, and build belief in your own abilities.
Your New Growth worker will support you through pregnancy and after your baby is born. They can help you prepare for appointments, feel more confident in meetings, and build a safe, secure bond with your baby. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with other care-experienced parents.
